Pleating is one of the treatments on fabrics that I’m so obsessed with. Pleats are such fabulous textures! I really love textures on my dressing, adding a texture or two to an outfit is a great way to boost a stylish look.
I posted this outfit on Pose yesterday. I was playing with muted colors of the blouse, the pants, and the sandals. For a pop of color I completed the look with a gold crinkled leather clutch and an antique gold/pewter ring necklace. What do you think of this look for a casual date night?
Romanian tops are some of those fashion items with amazing style longevity. They never go out of style from decade to decade. I got my top from a lovely family member, I was so happy with the gift! She told me that one of her friends gave it to her in the 60s when she lived in Paris at the time. The top was hand-made AND hand-embroidered in Romania by her friend herself. What a treasure! Lucky me! I styled my Romanian top with my cut-off dark jeans, my gold Alaïa wedges, and a vintage crocheted flower plastic shopper bag. It’s a serious summertime!!
Who What Wear featured Romanian blouses yesterday. Check it out!
I’m naturally not a huge fan of photoprint clothes but I’m an adventurous dresser so I was willing to give it a try. So I went ahead and styled my blue sky and flower photprinted dress with a pale yellow light denim jacket, a periwinkle blue raffia clutch, and a pair of snakeskin AlaÏa sandals. Sometimes more is less
I’m super psyched with how this look turned out. It’s feminine but with a dash of tomboyness.
